We value a life of godliness and
generosity as expressions of our
faith fueled and reinforced through prayer, praise and worship.
Values
Prayer:
A priority as the means of participation in the unseen world and to reinforce ministry in the
battleground for souls.
Praise and Worship:
The means of acknowledging God’s supreme value and worth in our personal lives and to express
our love and gratitude to God in an abiding relationship. John 15; Like 5:33-35
Generosity:
Winning souls is costly. Giving is one of the most tangible expressions of our worship and faith.
Life of Godliness:
A life of Godliness in all areas of Christian living is an active display of our worship of God.
We
acknowledge Christ as head of the church and that the lost
matter to
God. Thus, we have a deep desire and a plan to
spread the
message and the love of Christ to all people.
Values
Evangelism:
Lost people matter to God and therefore ought to matter to the church.
Christ’s Headship:
We acknowledge Christ as head of our church and submit all our activities to his will and good pleasure.
Ephesians 1:22-23
Friendship with unbelievers:
By building relationships with non-Christians, we enable ourselves to communicate the life
changing message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Missions:
We have a deep desire to spread the Christian message to people of other cultures than our own,
so they too can share this great love of Christ.
The Inspired Word:
The word is the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for Christians. It is relevant
to the common needs of all people at all times. James 1:22.
God gave his best and expects our best. We are responsible to see
that every Christian is prepared and empowered for service.
Values
Lay Ministry:
The primary responsibility of the pastors and teachers is to prepare and empower God’s people for works of service. Eph. 4:11-13
Spirit of Excellence:
God gave his best. Paul exhorts us as servants in whatever we do to “work at it with all your heart,
as working for the lord, not for men” Col. 3:23. Thus, we will strive for excellence in training and
equipping to the Glory of God, so that each person can exercise his or her God given spiritual gifts
to the best of their ability. 1Cor. 3:13
Every Christian a Minister:
Every Christian possesses natural talents and spiritual gifts. We promote the release of these
talents and gifts for God. Rom. 12:6. “God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well”.
Annointed teachings:
Are the catalyst for transformation in individual in the church.
We value a balanced Christian life
where rest and healing are available; where
freedom of expression is
experienced and cultural diversity is a reality.
Values
Balanced Christianity:
We desire a balanced Christian experience with meaningful worship, life-related Biblical teaching, significant relationships, and the ability to serve others according to our gifts, talents and interests.
Refuge for the Hurting:
We desire to be a place where rest and healing are available to those who need it.
Freedom of Expression, Cultural Diversity, and Relevance:
We desire and promote an atmosphere of free worship and open praise.
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” 2 Cor. 3:17
“With my hands lifted up and my mouth filled with praise.”
